Our Story
LAZYTOM SPORTS began within the local basketball community in New Zealand.
In the early days, we were simply helping friends and teammates purchase basketball shoes from overseas and ship them back to New Zealand. Many great performance models — especially certain colourways or signature shoes — were difficult to find locally, and players often had trouble getting the pairs they really wanted.
Over time, word started to spread. Friends of friends began reaching out, asking if we could help source specific shoes or check prices for them.
In 2023, we decided to build a dedicated platform — LAZYTOM SPORTS — where we could share and source great basketball shoes more efficiently. Since then, we have been updating the site regularly with high-quality performance basketball footwear, focusing on models that are highly regarded by players but not always easy to purchase locally.
Today, our customers come from all over the world, including North America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. While we have grown far beyond our original circle of teammates, our goal remains the same: helping basketball players find the shoes they truly want.
